The CO2 laser is absorbed in any tissue containing water, and in the "cutting" mode is able to make relatively bloodless incisions. In the scanned mode, this laser is used to resurface the skin. It also is used to treat warts (plantar, or anywhere else on the body), skin tags and cysts which have not responded to more traditional therapy. |
